Miss Bulgaria

Miss Bulgaria is a national beauty pageant for unmarried women in Bulgaria, which is called in Germany Miss Bulgarija ( Мис България ). He has already been done in the 1920s and 1930s. From this time, however, only the last name less Winners announced that participated in the Miss Europe.

After a long interruption caused by the Second World War and the Communist rule there is competition again since 1990.

The published finalists (since 1998) did not receive any placement, but a title to the international competition for which they have been delegated: Miss Bulgaria World, Miss Bulgaria Universe, Miss Europe and Miss Bulgaria Bulgaria Earth.

Note the spelling of the name: The Bulgarian is the original form - except for the names of the winners before the war that were available only in Latin script. All the others were

• Either transferred from the Bulgarian, but not in scientific transliteration or transcription, but in a kind used in international competitions manner that is generally aligned with the English, or
• Taken directly from Bulgarian websites.
