Miss May I

Miss May I is an American metalcore band from Ohio. To date they have released three studio albums, as well as contributed the title song for Saw VI. The music of Miss May I appear at Rise Records.

History

Miss May I founded in 2006 in Troy, Ohio. At that time they were 16 years old and their first release was included the EP Vows for a massacre, the five songs. As recently as 2009 they brought the first real album out Apologies Are for the Weak. This album they produced themselves yet, but after that the band signed to Rise Records a contract.

Apologies Are for the Weak (2009)

With this album in hand they went together with Carnifex, Impending Doom, and Conducting from the Grave on tour. After a short time, however, decided the former bassist Josh Gillispie to leave the band. He was replaced by Ryan Neff. Then they played with several smaller tours.

Monument ( 2010)

After they had gone into the studio in May 2010, they released 28 June 2010 their second album Monument. In December, they announced that they attend the Vans Warped Tour 2011.
