Missinaibi Lake

The Missinaibi Lake is a lake on the border between Algoma and Sudbury District in the Canadian province of Ontario.

The lake is located in the Missinaibi Provincial Park, 20 km east of Missanabie and 60 km north- west of Chapleau. The Missinaibi Lake is located at an altitude of 346 m in the area of the Canadian Shield. The lake has a Y- shape with three Seearmen. The southern arm has a length of 12 km, the north-western arm is 18 km long, the north-eastern arm extends to 32 km in length. The width of the lake is more than 2 km. The Missinaibi Lake is drained by the Missinaibi River at the end of the northeast arm. The most important tributary is the Little Missinaibi River.

The lake is used for recreational activities such as canoeing and fishing. In the lake are walleye, pike, lake trout and American Heringsmaräne.
