Missouri Senate

The Senate of Missouri (Missouri State Senate ) is the upper house of the Missouri General Assembly, the legislature of the U.S. state of Missouri.

The chamber of parliament is composed of 34 Senators representing an electoral district in each case. Each of these units includes a fixed average rate of 160,000 inhabitants. The senators are elected for four -year terms. Further, these terms are staggered so that always half of the senators are elected every two years. A limitation of the terms does not exist. The meeting room of the Senate is located together with the House of Representatives in Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City the capital.
