MIT OpenCourseWare

MIT OpenCourseWare (MIT OCW ) is an initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which aims to make the teaching materials of the University free and freely available online. The project was launched in October 2002. At present, more than 1,900 courses are available online. Most contain besides homework and exams (often with solutions ) the lecture notes. Some courses also have interactive applets or video recordings. Particularly well-known examples are the lectures by Walter Lewin and Gilbert Strang.

More than 200 universities have published their courses along the lines of MIT and joined the OpenCourseWare Consortium.
