Mitch Byrd

Mitch Byrd ( born 1961 in Jackson) is an American comic book artist.

Life and work

Byrd began working as a professional cartoonist in the 1980s. The first work that he presented, it was the humorous comic Cat and Mouse, which he created together with the derived also from Mississippi artists Steven Butler and Roland man. After Cat and Mouse was first published by the publishing house Aircel, moved the series to Malibu Comics.

1993 Byrd finally began for the two market leaders in the American comic book industry to work: For DC Comics, he drew the series Guy Gardner and Darkstars as master draftsman, as well as Annuals titled special editions for the series Green Lantern and Starman, while at Marvel Comics for which he series Punisher was active.
