Mitch Vogel

Mitch Vogel ( born January 17, 1956 in Alhambra, California ) is a retired American film actor. Among his most famous roles of Jamie Hunter Cartwright counts in the television series Bonanza.

Life

Bird's parents were already divorced early; his father Dennis Vogel moved then to Kiel in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Mitch's mother married a national of the United States Marine Corps and moved to Costa Mesa with him. As this marriage also broke up, she moved with Mitch and his seven years younger half- sister Kitty to Burbank.

In 1966, at the age of ten, Bird took acting lessons, and got the same year the title role in the play Tom Sawyer, which was launched in Costa Mesa for the performance. Only a year later, he was in an episode of the short-lived television series Dundee and the Culhane front of the camera. Also in 1968, he stood in the comedy film Yours, Mine and Ours front of the camera before in the same year was offered in the role of Jamie Cartwright Bonanza. It should embody the role between his 12th and 17th year of life. In the 1970s, bird perceived roles in other television series, including Gunsmoke, The Streets of San Francisco or Little House.
