Mithrobuzanes

Mithrobuzanes († 334 BC) was a Persian governor ( satrap ) in the 4th century BC.

Mithrobuzanes was under the reign of Darius III. the satrap of Cappadocia near the Taurus ( Südkappadokien ). He commanded 334 BC a military unit in the Battle of the Granicus against Alexander the Great, in which he was killed.

The victorious Alexander appointed in his place the native Sabiktas the satrap of Südkappadokien, but could not hold in this office is.
