Mitja Kunc

Mitja Kunc ( born November 12, 1971 in Črna na Koroškem ) is a former Slovenian skier. He was specialized in the technical disciplines slalom and giant slalom, won in the course of his career, a World Cup race and landed five more times in the top three. At the World Championships 2001 he won the bronze medal in the slalom.

Career

The trained policeman Kunc won in January 1990 in the giant slalom in Veysonnaz his first points in the World Cup. The breakthrough world leaders succeeded the mid-1990s, when he reached a few second places in the Giant Slalom. In 1994 he was.
