Mitsubishi Kokuki K. K. (Japanese三菱 航空 机 株式会社, Mitsubishi Kokuki Kabushiki - gaisha, Eng. Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation) is a Japanese aircraft manufacturer owned 64% by Mitsubishi Jukogyo ( engl. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries).

Business

The company was founded in 2008 with headquarters in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture and is engaged in the development of the MRJ (Mitsubishi Regional Jet ), a regional jet for 70 to 96 passengers. In addition to aircraft of various types of rockets are manufactured.

Predecessor companies 1928-1934

Not to be confused is the company with the Mitsubishi Kokuki from 1928, which mainly produced aircraft for the Japanese forces. It merged in 1934 with Mitsubishi Zosen ( Mitsubishi Shipbuilding engl. ) to Mitsubishi Jukogyo.
