Miwa Fukuhara

Miwa Fukuhara (Japanese福 原 美 和, Miwa Fukuhara; born December 13, 1944 in Ōta, Tokyo ) is a former Japanese figure skater who started in a single run.

Fukuhara was born in 1960 and 1962 to 1966 Japanese champion. Seven times she participated in the World Championships. Her best result was sixth place, which they reached at the World Championships in 1963, 1964 and 1965. It was the best up to this point, placement of a Japanese woman in the World Championships. Twice represented Fukuhara Japan at the Olympics. In 1960, she was 21 and in 1964 in Innsbruck, she managed with the achievement of the best of fifth place by 1992 cutting off a Japanese woman in figure skating at the Olympic Games.
