Miwa Yanagi

Miwa Yanagi (Japaneseやなぎ みわ, Miwa Yanagi, born 1967 in Kobe ) is a Japanese artist who creates digitally manipulated photographs.

Content, Yanagi apart in their works of art with sociological aspects of modern life in contemporary Japan, in particular the uniformity, anonymity and interchangeability of individuals in the public and with the standardized role behavior of Japanese woman. Recordings of real people who are together in alienated and synthesis, digitally processed, some fantastic landscapes and interiors are processed to photo sets or sometimes monumental compositions.
