Miyama, Fukuoka
Miyama (Japaneseみやま 市, -shi) is a city in Fukuoka prefecture in Japan.
Geography
Miyama is located south of Fukuoka and Kurume, and north of Kumamoto.
History
The city was founded on 29 January 2007 by the Association of Municipalities Setaka and Yamakawa of the district Yamato, and Takata of the county Miike. Both counties were thereupon be dissolved.
