Mizrachi (religious Zionism)

Mizrachi ( mizʀaχi, Hebrew המזרחי HaMizrahi, acronym for Merkaz Ruhani, ie " religious center ", or Misrach "east" ) is a March 5, 1902 in Vilna by Rabbi Isaac Jacob Reines ( 1839-1915 ) founded orthodox - Zionist movement.

National Mizrachi organizations in German-speaking countries there are in Munich, Vienna and Zurich. Mizrachi Mizrachi Vienna has its seat in the house on the Jewish Square. The Bnei Akiva was founded in Jerusalem in 1929 is the youth organization of Mizrachi.

Mizrachi is not to be confused with Mizrahim, the Hebrew term for oriental Jews.
