MMR06

The MMR06 is a Russian rocket for meteorological experiments. It is 3.48 meters long and has a launch weight of 130 kg. The MMR06 rocket was built in two versions: The first version had a conical tip, the second, also called MMR06 -M, a detachable free flight body ( Dart ). The peak heights are 60 and 80 kilometers. Between 1988 and 1992, 62 missiles MMR06 -M were started by former NVA training area on the peninsula Zingst to perform wind and temperature measurements in the upper atmosphere.
