Mobile home

A mobile home, also called a mobile home, is a transportable dwelling unit and the interior design of a home is comparable. It is a kind of enlarged caravan, which, however, can only be transported by truck over long distances. To move on a camping or a trailer park has a mobile home an easy axis without brake.

The kitchens are usually fitted kitchens with hob, stainless steel sink, refrigerator, etc.

Mobile homes offer enough space to set up furniture (eg bed, wardrobe, bed ) or a piano can. By contrast, a caravan exclusively built- furniture; the most U-shaped seating group can almost always be converted into a sleeping area.

Mobile homes in the U.S.

In the United States is meant by a mobile home and portable units that do not have axis. They are manufactured in a factory or prefabricated at least there and then transported to their destination. Basically, these buildings can be retrofitted still moving, depending on the design, this is more or less expensive. Usually, this construction is less expensive than on-site built buildings.

There are in America in addition also mobile homes that look like the well known European mobile homes. They are in simple trailer parks (trailer parks ) and also in comfortable facilities with a pool.

The mid-1970s lived in the USA 8 million people in 3.4 million mobile homes. This followed a change in the practice of guaranteed allocations for mortgage loans. The Housing Act of 1969 allowed the FHA for the first time mobile homes up to a value of $ 10,000 and a term of up to twelve years to insure.
