Models Inc. is an offshoot of the series Melrose Place. Here played Amanda's mother Hilary Michaels (played by Linda Gray ) and her models the lead roles. Both Linda Gray and Cassidy Rae (Sarah Owens ) and Stephanie Romanov ( Teri Spencer ) showed up at Melrose Place at the end of the second season. Daphne Zuniga and Grant Show played again in the pilot to Models Inc.. The series brought it in the 1994/1995 television season to a total of 29 episodes.

The subsequent matrix Actress Carrie- Anne Moss played their first major series role.

Stephanie Romanov played two roles: In the pilot episode the cuteness of her Teri Spencer was killed. The producers were so impressed that they let her continue to occur in flashbacks, and finally they created a new role for Romanov: From Episode 9, she returned as Teri -Look- A-Like Monique Duran in the series.

As the series had poor rates, it was decided, similar to Melrose Place with Heather Locklear, the former Dynasty beast Emma Samms as Grayson Louder scheming to get into the series. But it did not help and the series was finally stopped in the summer of 1995. For the European market they turned extracting a proper ending, in which Grayson is shot and Hilary includes the modeling agency.
