Modern Family

Modern Family is an American mockumentary comedy that ran on 23 September 2009 on the U.S. television channel ABC for the first time. The half-hour series that invented Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan, is produced by Fox Television Studios. The program deals with the families of Jay Pritchett, his son Mitchell Pritchett and his daughter Claire Dunphy.

Action

The mockumentary accompanied the families of Jay Pritchett ( Ed O'Neill ), his daughter Claire Dunphy (Julie Bowen ) and his son Mitchell Pritchett ( Jesse Tyler Ferguson ). As Claire has the role of the housewife in a traditional family, Jay is married to a much younger woman with whom he educates his stepson. Mitchell and his partner have an adopted Asian baby.

Production

After the pilot very well sections in a target group test, ABC ordered thirteen episodes, and added them to the schedule for 2009/2010.
