Moei Wadi District

Amphoe moei Wadi ( Thai: อำเภอ เมย วดี ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Roi Et Roi Et The province is located in Isaan, the northeast region of Thailand.

Geography

Amphoe moei Wadi borders the following counties ( from east clockwise): Amphoe Nong Phok and to the Phon Thong in the province of Roi Et, Kalasin Province to Amphoe Kuchinarai and at Amphoe Nong Sung Province Mukdahan.

History

Moei Wadi was born on April 1, 1978 initially as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the two tambon moei Wadi and Chumphon Amphoe Phon Thong were separated from. On November 3, 1993, he was promoted to Amphoe.

Administrative units

Amphoe moei Wadi is divided into four communities ( tambon), which are further subdivided into 43 villages ( Muban ).

There are four small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Moei Wadi ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เมย วดี ), consisting of the whole tambon moei Wadi,
  • Chumphon ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ชุมพร ), consisting of the entire Tambon Chumphon,
  • Bung Loet ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บุ่ง เลิศ ), consisting of the entire Tambon Bung Loet,
  • Chom Sa -at ( Thai: เท ศา บาล ตำบล ชม สะอาด ), consisting of the entire Tambon Chom Sa -at.
