The Pico Mogoton, also Cerro Mogoton, is a 2107 m high, inactive volcano in the Central American country Nicaragua. It is located in the mountain range Cordellia Isabelia on the border with the neighboring state of Honduras. With its height of the mountain is the highest point of Nicaragua. The ascent of Mogoton is very problematic because the area was mined in the 1980s by the Sandinistas.
