Mohamed Benouza

Mohamed Benouza ( born September 26, 1972 in Oran ) is an Algerian football referee. He is an international referee for FIFA since 2001.

He was selected as a referee for the Junior World Cup in 2007 in Canada, where he managed the game between Panama and North Korea on 30 June 2007. He also took over the lead of the game between New Zealand and Mexico on July 8, 2007. Additionally, he served in the African Cup of Nations in Ghana in 2008 as a referee.

Benouza should also be used at the Soccer World Cup 2010 as a referee, but missed the part after one of his assistants fell through in May 2010 at a fitness test.
