Mohamed Harbi

Mohammed Harbi ( born 1933 in El Harrouch ) is a Franco- Algerian historian.

In his youth Harbi was a member of the liberation movement FLN. After the Algerian War, he worked for the government of Ahmed Ben Bella. After his fall, he was arrested, but was later able to leave on Tunisia to France, where he taught at the University of Paris VIII.
