Mohamed Sifaoui

Mohamed Sifaoui (born 4 July 1967) is a living in France journalist and author of Algerian origin. The Muslim is concerned primarily with the detection of Islamist networks and their activities. He describes himself as a " Muslim layman and Democrat " ( musulman laïque et démocrate ).

Since 1999 Sifaoui lives in France after he narrowly escaped an Islamist attack in Algeria. After his documentary film Undercover in Al Qaeda (2003 ), which was also shown on German television and also appeared a book, the journalist had to keep hidden again.

From 2003 to 2007 he was commissioned by French safety authorities personal protection.

Since October 2007 he has been a board member of the French non -governmental organization SOS Racisme.

Sifaoui is accused by critics, his reports were polemical and sensationsheischend.
