Mohammad Farouk Tayfour

Faruk Tayfour or Mohammed Farouk Tayfour (Arabic محمد فاروق طيفور Muhammad Faruq Tayfur ) is the deputy chairman or " Deputy leader" of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria.

Tayfour was elected to the Secretariat and as vice president of the Syrian National Council on 9 November 2012. On July 6, 2013 Mohammed Farouk Tayfour was also Vice President of the National Coalition for opposition and revolutionary forces, the main opposition group in Syrian Civil War, was elected. The Syrian National Council is part of the National Coalition.
