Mohammad Jihad al-Laham

Muhammad Jihad al - Lahham (Arabic محمد جهاد اللحام, DMG Muhammad Jihad al - Lahham, born January 13, 1954 in Damascus ) is the Syrian Parliament president. A well-known criminal defense lawyer conducts Laham the office of the Syrian lawyers union in the capital Damascus. He is a member of the Baath Party of Syria.

In the parliamentary elections May 7, 2012 Muhammad was chosen Jihad al - Lahham as a deputy of Damascus in the People's Council. On May 24, the People's Council Laham elected with 225 of 250 votes for the Speaker of Parliament.
