Mohammad Reza Adelkhani

Mohammad Reza Adelkhani ( born February 13, 1947 in Tehran ) is a retired Iranian football player who played during his career in Germany and 17 games for the Iranian national team graduated.

Adelkhani was a striker with a hard left shot. Between 1973 and 1978 he played 17 times for Iran and scored two goals. He also belonged to the squad of the national team in qualifying for the World Cup 1978. During the World Cup he was not in the squad because he was injured before the tournament, as he saved his daughter from a stair fall. Thus, the football competition of the Asian Games 1974 in Tehran remained the only major tournament, was able to attend the Adelkhani; in this he forced in the final match against Israel that own goal was enough to win Iran.

His stations in Germany were the Bonner SC, SG Wattenscheid 09, Wuppertal SV Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, the amateurs of FC Bayern Munich and VfL Klafeld - Geisweid 08 In addition, he played in his homeland for Esteghlal Tehran FC Shahbaz.
