Mohammad-Reza Shafiei Kadkani

Mohammad Reza Shafi'i Kadkani (Persian محمدرضا شفیعی کدکنی; * 1939 in Nishapur ) is a Persian poet of modern poetry as well as high school teacher and commentator of classical texts.

Life and career

He began his training in religious studies in Mashhad and later received a PhD degree in Persian literature in Tehran. His poetry can be significant influences of Hafiz and Maulana recognize. Kadkani is a significant person in literary studies and lectured in the universities of Oxford, Princeton and Pennsylvania.
