Mohokos

Mohokos with a height of 344 m. i J. of the highest summit of a hill chain in the northwest of Međimurje County in northern Croatia and the entire county. It is located in the municipality Štrigova. The range of hills extends in a northwest-southeast direction, and is one of the easternmost foothills of the Alps.

The mountain range is used for agriculture, pastures, vineyards, orchards and small woods determine its appearance. On the summit a built of rough stone pillar is a plate whose inscription reads translated: " The highest geographical point in the Međimurje - Mohokos 344.4 m - 26.IX.1999 ".

The summit is a popular destination.
