Mohsen Shadi

Mohsen Shadi Naghdeh ( born June 4, 1988 in Naghadeh ) is an Iranian rower in the discipline of the one and two -time Olympian.

The 191 cm and 72 kg rowers won in 2008 at the U23 World Championships, which took place in Brandenburg, the very first medal of Iran in this sport on the international stage. He was behind Graham Oberlin - Brown ( NZL) second in the lightweight single sculls. and thus secured the silver medal.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he was fifth in the seventh race of the first round and thus qualified for the semi-final race for places 25-36, which he won on the second nine seconds ahead. In this race ( 7:20,34 min) he improved from the first race ( 7:48,24 min) by nearly 28 seconds.
