Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate

The Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate ( MVTR), and Water Vapor Transmission Rate ( WVTR) called, is a measure of the permeability of water vapor through the material, and breathability of functional textiles. To determine the MVTR value is the amount of water that evaporates in 24 hours by a square meter of fabric is measured. The MVTR is specified as evaporated water in grams per square meter per day.
