Molar ( Morele Piedmontese, Ligurian Morere ) is a municipality with 2174 inhabitants (as at 31 May 2006) Alessandria in the Italian province (AL ), Region Piedmont.
The neighboring municipalities are Cassinelle, Cremolino, Ovada, Ponzone, Rossiglione (GE) and Tiglieto (GE).

Specialty
In Molar vines of Dolcetto for the Dolcetto d' Ovada, a red wine are grown with DOC status. The berries of the grape varieties Pinot Noir and / or Chardonnay may be processed for sparkling wine Alta Langa. Barbera finds its way into the red wine Barbera del Monferrato.
