The Molenbeek is a creek in the Belgian province of East Flanders in the Denderstreek. It has a length of about 22 km. The source of Molenbeek is Grotenberge and the mouth in Wichelen in the Scheldt. The Molenbeek is a part of the catchment area of the Drie Molenbeken. The Drie Molenbeken are tributaries of the Bovenschelde. The catchment area of ​​Molenbeek has an area of about 5276 hectares and is located in the catchment area Bovenschelde. The Molenbeek opens in Wichelen in Bovenschelde.

Mills

At the Molenbeek are three mills in the community Erpe- Mere. The Water De Meulen in Ottergem is a listed building.
