Mollweide's formula

The minor grazing between formulas, named after the German mathematician and astronomer Carl Brandan Mollweide, are trigonometric formulas that are valid for arbitrary triangles. The term is historically incorrect, since Isaac Newton had found these formulas already a century earlier.
