Molodyozhnaya (Moscow Metro)

Molodjoschnaja (Russian Молодёжная, pronunciation? / I ) (also called "Line 3" ) is a 1965 eröffneter underground metro station, Moscow Metro on the Arbatsko - Pokrowskaja - line between the underground stations Krylatskoje and Kuntsevskaya.

General Description

The underground station is in the Molodjoschnaja Kunzewo district in Western Administrative District of Moscow.

It was opened as the then western terminus of Filjowskaja - line on July 5, 1965 ( the "Blue Line" ). Molodjoschnaja remained the terminus until 31 December 1989, when the Filjowskaja line was extended by one stop to Krylatskoje. With the expansion of the " dark blue " Arbatsko - Pokrowskaja - line in a northwesterly direction from Park Pobedy to Strogino including the section Kuntsevskaya - Krylatskoje the Filjowskaja - line on January 7, 2008, the Metro Station Molodjoschnaja passed to the Arbatsko - Pokrowskaja - line while the Filjowskaja line since then ends in Kuntsevskaya.
