Mona Guerrant
Mona Mona Guerrant also Schallau ( born November 28, 1948 in Marengo, Iowa as Ramona Anne Schallau ) is a former American tennis player.
Career
She studied at Rollins College. In 1970 she took part in the Universiade in Turin. Then she played tennis professionally, reaching 1976, the number 11 in the world rankings. In 1976, she was inducted into the Iowa Tennis Hall of Fame and in 1996 in the Des Moines Sunday Register 's Iowa Sports Hall of Fame.
Her biggest success had Guerrant December 1977 at the Australian Open in doubles. Like all finalists was declared the winner, since this final could not be played due to rain.
She married Terry Guerrant and took the name of Guerrant. They have a son.
