Monarchist Alliance

The National Alliance Monarchica ( German: Monarchist Alliance; abbreviated AM) is a monarchist political party in Italy. Their orientation is somewhere between democratic, patriotic and conservative - in particular, it sees itself in the tradition of the Risorgimento, the unification of Italy 1861-1870 as a constitutional monarchy. The party split in 1972 by the Partito Democratico Italiano di Unità Monarchica ( PDIUM ) from, in protest against its merger with the post-fascist Movimento Sociale Italiano by Giorgio Almirante.

Chairman ( Segretario ) is Franco Ceccarelli, while Roberto Righini Vittucci meets the more representative function of the party president (Presidente ). The AM has carried out a series of petitions in order to compete with its own list in the local elections can; However, at national level, it does not matter.
