Moncey is a commune in the French department Doubs in the Franche -Comté.

Geography

Moncey is located on 233 m, about 16 km north- northeast of the city of Besançon (air line). The village is located in a slightly elevated position on the southern edge of the Talniederung Ognon, north of the ridge of the Grande Côte in the extreme northwest of the Doubs.
