Mongo, Chad

Region

Mongo is a city in Chad and the capital of the Guéra region. It is located 510 km east of the provincial capital, N'Djamena. The population is 20,443 ( 1993 figures ).

On 11 April 2006, the center of the city of rebels of the United Front for Democratic Change ( FUC or FUDC ) was taken.
