Monika Baumgartner

Monika Baumgartner ( born July 19, 1951 in Munich) is a German actress and folk theater director.

Life

After studying at the Otto -Falkenberg - school and stage opera houses in Mannheim and Hamburg Monika Baumgartner is present since the end of the 1970s in film and television. Her breakthrough came in 1982 with the series The Rumplhanni in which she played the eponymous protagonist. In 2003, she starred alongside Jörg Hube in a set in the Bavarian language version, the wife Martha in Heinrich von Kleist The Broken Jug, directed by Michael Lerchenberg; the television directing took this Hans- Klaus Petsch. Since 2008 she has been seen in the role of Elisabeth Gruber in the TV series The Mountain Doctor.

Monika Baumgartner appears regularly in numerous Bavarian colored television series. She had supporting roles in our best years, to freedom, Polizeiinspektion 1, The Million Bauer, Munich 7, Master Eder and his Pumuckl, Crime Scene, Die Rosenheim - Cops, The Old Man, SOKO 5113, Derrick, I Do not Know, Der Bulle von Tölz and in the comedy barn.

In 1998, she staged for the first time a play, The slanderers.

Monika Baumgartner also teaches at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Ever thing and is seen regularly at the Munich theater stages. Together with her sister she introduces Interiors business in Munich's Westend. Baumgartner was a member of the 15th federal assembly. It was for this proposed by the Greens in the Bavarian Parliament.
