Monika Debertshäuser

Monika Debertshäuser ( born September 18, 1952 in Sonneberg ) is a former German cross-country skier who competed for East Germany. Debertshäuser was a member of SC Motor Zella- Mehlis.

She won her biggest sporting success at the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1976, when she finished in third place with the GDR - season and thus won the bronze medal.

She married the cross-country skier Gerd Hessler. This marriage was later divorced.
