Monika Kruse ( born July 23, 1971 in Berlin ) is a German techno DJ, music producer and label owner of.

Life

Monika Kruse was born 1971 in Berlin and grew up in Munich. At seven, she first began taking piano lessons and was after her high school graduation worked as an intern at a music magazine and a band promotion company. Later she worked as a product manager at the record company Chrysalis and supervised there among other Gang Starr and Monie Love.

1991 Kruse joined the Munich Bar Babalu first time as a DJ. The musical style was mainly influenced by hip- hop and funk, but their set also included first House Numbers. A short time later, she became a resident DJ at the " Park Café". The end of 1993 was Monika Kruse member of the Ultraworld Crew, the techno parties held in Munich and the 1994 ultrasonic club opened. Kruse was from the beginning a resident DJ at ultrasound.

1995 Kruse began with her own music productions. A co-production with Richard Bartz was published in the spring on a compilation. She worked as an A & R at crank - Records. On September 5, Monika Kruse published together with Gregor Tresher her first solo album Changes of Perception. The first single Changes of Perception Part 1 was released on 7 May 2008, Part 2 on 28 June 2008 and Part 3 on 3 September 2008 and was elected to the Raveline 2008 survey as Best Album in 2008 at No. 2.
