Monika Wagner

Monika Wagner ( born February 28, 1965 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen ) is a German curler. She plays in the team of Andrea Schoepp on the position of the Third and is a member of the SC Riessersee.

1992 at the Olympic Winter Games in Albertville a demonstration competition was played, the winning team. In 1998, Wagner played on the team at the Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, finishing at the end of the 8th Place.

The Curling Championship 2009 in Aberdeen Wagner was as second on the team with skip Andrea Schoepp, Third Melanie Robillard, Lead Corinna Scholz, Stella Alternate hot and won the gold medal. The Round Robin had completed the team in third place. The Page playoff game they won against Russia and the semi-final against Denmark. In the final, they sat down 7-5 against Switzerland through.

Wagner played at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. The team finished sixth.

Wagner won 28 March 2010 with the German team led by Andrea Schoepp Skip the Curling World Championship. In the Canadian Swift Current, the German team defeated the team Scotland to Eve Muirhead Skip to 8:6 after extra end stones.
