Monique Henderson
Monique Henderson ( born February 18, 1983 in San Diego ) is an American sprinter who specializes in the 400 - meter track, and relay Olympic gold medalist.
1999 Monique Henderson was in Bydgoszcz youth world champion in 52.28 s
2000, at the age of 17, she set a U.S. junior and high school record in the 400 meters with 50.74 s. Then she was accepted into the American Olympic team but did not play.
In 2002 she was in Kingston two -time Junior World Champion - in the 400 - meter dash ( 51.10 s ) and the 4 x 400 - meter relay of the United States.
At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, she won the team gold medal in the 4 x 400 - meter relay along with teammates DeeDee Trotter, Sanya Richards and Monique Hennagan.
In 2005 she was at the World Championships in Helsinki seventh.
