Monroe Abbey
Monroe Abbey ( * 1904, † November 28, 1993 ) was a Canadian lawyer.
Abbey was settled as a lawyer in Montreal and specialized in mining law. In addition to his professional activities, he became involved in his hometown in numerous Jewish organizations. Among other things, he was director of the Jewish Immigrant Aid Services, the Zionist Organization of Canada and the United Jewish Refugee and World Relief Agencies. From 1968 to 1971 he was president of the Canadian Jewish Congress.
