The Monstranzuhr (also: Mirror ) was a popular type of watch of the Renaissance, which was built in 1500-1650. There is a desk clock whose case was carried out in the form of a monstrance and consisted of chiselled bronze cast and hammered, partly gold-plated copper or brass plate. Center of production was at the beginning of the 17th century, southern Germany to Augsburg.
