Location

The Mont Agel in the region Provence- Alpes- Cote d' Azur and belongs to the French Maritime Alps. The mountain belongs to the municipality Peille. On Monegasque territory lies the Chemin des Revoires, a walkway that leads up to 161 meters high and is the highest point of Monaco.

Use

On the slopes of the mountain is the Monte Carlo Golf Club. At 800 meters above sea level is the transmission tower Fontbonne. On the summit is also Air Force Base 943 Capitaine Auber of the French Air Force. From here, aircraft movements are observed in eastern France.
