Mont Mégantic Observatory

The Observatoire du Mont Mégantic - (OMM ) is an astronomical observatory in the National Park of Mont- Mégantic, Canada. The geographical location is 71 ° 9 ' 9.81 "West and 45 ° 27' 20.66 " North, 1111 m. The observatory is registered under the IAU code 301.

It features a 1.6 - m Ritchey -Chrétien telescope, which can be visited during the day. It is operated by the Université de Montréal, McGill University and the Université Laval, the Centre de recherche en Astrophysique du Québec. Also two nights in the telescope is equipped with an eyepiece on and then allows visitors own observation of the sky.
