Nax Mont-Noble community

Mont -Noble is the name of a resulting in the canton of Valais, Switzerland on 1 January 2011 fusion community. It consists of the former municipalities Vernamiège, Nax and Mase.

In the referendum of 24 February 2008, the proposed merger of the three municipalities Vernamiège, Nax and Mase failed only very scarce. Nax and Mase said yes, but Vernamiège rejected the project with 67 votes to 61 at. On September 7, 2008, another referendum was held in which all three municipalities adopted the project.
