Mont -Saint -Guibert ( Walloon Mont St. Gubiet ) is a commune in the French-speaking province of Walloon Brabant in Belgium. It consists of three parts: Mont -Saint -Guibert, Corbais and Hévillers, which were merged in the course of municipal reform of 1977.
Geographical Location
Mont -Saint -Guibert is located in Ornetal. The Orne springs near Gembloux and ends at Court-Saint -Etienne in the Thyle.

The municipal council ( Conseil Communal ) has 17 members; out of it the Collège with the mayor and four aldermen ( Echevins ) is formed.
Coat of arms
Since January 7, 1952 leading Mont -Saint -Guibert, the coat of arms of the Benedictine Abbey of Gembloux, which was founded in the 10th century by Saint Wigbert of Darnau ( Guibert of Gorze ). The crest is a divided by a golden ribbon green shield with a six-pointed star in the right main piece.
