Montcel (Savoie)

Montcel is a town in the French department of Savoie in the Rhone -Alpes.

Geography

Montcel is located on 596 m above sea level. M., about 19 km north of the town of Chambery (air line). The farming village in the foothills of the Alps extends a scenic location at the bottom of the northwest slope of Mont Revard ( part of the massif of the Wallows ), above the valley of Sierre.

History
